Thank you for being the attendant! Every player is once a year the hall attendant. This way, everybody has little tasks and everyone can enjoy a happy badminton season.

As hall attendant, you also check the corona QR codes. No code and identification means no access for players or public! Please download the CoronaCheck app to scan QR codes.
As attendant, you are responsible for everything in the sports hall. You make sure people can play badminton, new players are welcomed and all materials will be stored at the end of the evening.
As attendant, you are allowed to play yourself, as long as you make sure that you are immediately available when new members enter the sports hall. You are also responsible for the coronavirus rules, so please make sure you can enforce the rules.
If you’re not available on the day you have to be the hall attendant, please ask somebody else to switch dates.
Start of the evening
- On Mondays, you are in the sports hall at 7.45 pm. On Wednesdays, you are in the sports hall at 6.45 pm. Both evenings, you have to stay in the sports hall until 11.00 pm.
- Pick up the keys of the roller shutters and the closets at the hall administrator.
- Set up the reservation board.
- Please wear the hall attendant band, to make sure that everybody knows who is today’s hall attendant.
- Put up a new attendance list on the reservation board.
During the evening
- Members can ask you all questions they have, please be available for people to answer their questions.
- Please make sure no one enters the sports hall with black shoe soles. The municipality has banned these type of shoes, because of the damage to the floors they cause.
New players
How to welcome new players?
- Welcome the new player! At that particular moment, you are the face of the badminton club.
- On the reservation board, flyers with all practical information can be found. If necessary, give the new player a flyer. Explain that at DVS, everyone can play three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Has the player a coach session appointment? Introduce the new player to the coach.
- Explain that the new player can play recreational games (also after a coach session) with a guest label.
End of the evening
- Send a picture of the attendance list to info@dvs-kotomisi.nl.
- Make sure that the members clean up the sports hall and remove all badminton nets and benches.
- Store all badminton rackets and shuttles in the closets.
- Lock the closets, close the roller shutters and hand in the keys at the hall administrator.
